Ugly Little Boy

The theme of this story is "it is what is on the inside that counts"
The characters, dialogue, and events relate to the theme because a nurse begins to love the "Ugly Little Boy" Timmie even though he is ugly She defends him when he is called "Ape Boy" or
"Timmie the ape boy". Timmie bites the boy that called him an "ape boy,"  "animal," and "ugly little boy."  Timmie becomes friends with the boy that called him an "ape boy,"  "animal," and "ugly little boy."  This story relates to real life because something like this happens every day to someone.  I disliked this story because it involved someone being called a name and I dont like being called names nor do I like calling or hearing people called names

Franchise

The theme of this story is something weird or out of the ordinary that happens early in the morning.
Someone from the secret service came to tell norman he had been chosen as represenative by a computer.
He goes to a place that looks like a hospitial for questioning by a computer named multivac for having a election
named after him. His house was completly sealed off by secret service agents.

The Machine That Won The War

This story relates to something I know because I know that mankind works at a consturction site and
machines assist mankind by assisting mankind by doing jobs that mankind can't do easily.
The theme of the story is that you can defeat and overcome your enemies.  The creature that was thier enemy was thier enemy becuase it was a threat to mankind.  That creauture was controlled by beings from another planet and that creature was a machine. The machine ended up getting into a fight with another machine and it created a war against the creatures from another planet and mankind. It eventually came down to mankind's machine fighting the other machine and killed it, therfore killing mankind's enemy.  The characters, dialouge, and events relate to the theme by revealing that you can defeat and overcome your enemies.  I liked that this story was talking about mankind and machines because mankind and machines are the future.

Robot Dreams - short story

I liked that this story involved robots because I think robots are cool and fascinating.
The theme of this story was a robot dreaming and people thought this was bad. A robot named Elvex said that he had a dream the previous night.  Elvex's owner went to tell Dr.Calvin, and Dr. Calvin inspected  the pattern of Elvex's positronic brain. Dr. Calvin thought this was bad so she fried Elvex's positronic brain. This relates to theme because Dr. Calvin apparently thought this was bad enough to bring death to a robot.

Sally from the story Robot Dreams by Isacc Asimov

The theme of this story is if you do something bad, you get something bad in return.  Events that show this theme are as follows.  Mr. Gellhorn and his gang of thieves try to steal all of Jake's cars and then kidnap Jake in a car bus meant for hauling cars.  Mr. Gellhorn threatens Jake with a gun if he doesn't come with him.  In the end Mr. Gellhorn and his gang of thieves get chased by all of Jake's cars with their doors opening and slamming shut (which is the cars' way of laughing.)
